At an estimated energy cost of $1.02 a year, the A19 can be controlled through your app whether indoor or outdoor. You can set schedules for how long you want your lights to stay on in any room. The PAR38 has an estimated energy cost of $1.93 per year. Although both bulbs can be placed inside or outside, the fact that the PAR38 is suitable for wet locations makes it better at withstanding outdoor weather compared to the A19 which needs to be protected.
